A full list of all people appointed as Marriage Celebrants in New Zealand as at the 31 January 2020. You can browse the register online or download a PDF copy of the document.
The index is a straight list without any search features. It simply has one marriage celebrant per line, with their surname followed by their first name. If browsing the register online, you can use your internet browser’s find or search feature to locate words on the page. For example in Chrome, select the menu option, then choose find. This will enable you to perform a keyword search of the entire page. Results will include all instances of the word on the page and you can use the up/down arrows to scroll between them.
The list of marriage celebrants is published under the provisions of sections 8 & 10 of the Marriage Act 1955.
