Judicial Decision Online is a free searchable database provided by the Ministry of Justice. Decisions from the Supreme Court, Court of Appeal and High Court of New Zealand are published no earlier than three days after they have been made.
The database may be searched by keyword or phrase. Additional filters are also available including court, location, case name, judicial officer, decision date, file number and counsel.
Results are returned by case and date. Selecting a case leads to a PDf file of the decision.
