Information on how to access military service records held by the New Zealand Defence Force.
A person can request a copy of their own records in writing. The first request is free whilst additional requests attract a fee.
If you wish to enquire about another living persons military records, you will require their signed authorisation to make the request.
Records of those deceased are available for anyone to make a request.
