The New Zealand Intellectual Property Office provides an online Trademark Search. This allows for targeted searching of trademark cases.

A basic search can be done by Trade Mark number, title and Vienna Classification. Selecting the Show/Hide All Advanced Fields option gives you several additional criteria. These include:

• Applicant or Owner Name
• Case Contact
• Mark Type
• Goods and Services Classes
• Submitted and Acceptance Dates

A Trademark search will return all matching cases displaying the case number, title, picture, status, owner and classes. You have the option to select a case number and gain further detailed information.

Bibliographical Data and History are available on the Trade Mark page. This provides a lot of detail including applicant names, case contact, classes, mark information, significant dates and status.
