About
The Reserve Bank of New Zealand publishes the current credit ratings of Banks registered in the country. There are three different credit rating agencies. These are Standard & Poor’s, Fitch and Moody’s. New Zealand Registered Banks must obtain and hold a credit rating based on their unsecured obligations payable in the country.
There are 26 banks in total with some holding ratings across all three agencies, whilst some have only one.
Additional Registers are also available to browse. These include a register of all registered banks, as well as a list of all registered banks in New Zealand including those from the past. The latter includes amendments to names and dates of the amendment.
